One would think that bright, gifted, creative children would have all the advantages anyone would one in looking forward to their future, but these pluses can quickly turn to liabilities and it's important to try to understand your child's individual strengths, challenges, and situation.

When we look at the childhoods of innovative thinkers, they often have important differences from others. They may be intense, have unusual interests, very asynchronous, or get into trouble for daydreaming too much or challenging authority.
