Favorite local field trips
in the city include local museums (Burke, Art Museum),
the Aquarium, Woodland Park Zoo, Science Center, Museum
of Flight, Space Needle, Chinatown (the Fortune Cookie
tour is neat), and the UW especially during an Open
House.
Other great visits: the Edmonds pier at low tide,
Northern Cascades, Lake Quinault (old growth
rainforest), boating on Lake Washington, and the
Chittenden Locks.
